By adding a separate mat window opening to your framed photo, we can help you create a personalized framed photo to commemorate names, dates, locations and much more.
How to personalize your framed photo
If you go straight to our Personalized Framed Photo page, upload your main image and select the print size.
Next, click the "Add Your Text" button to input the lines of text you want to display inside the second mat window opening below your main image.
This will open up the controls for entering and formatting your custom text, allowing you to adjust the size of the second window opening, as well as the font style and background color.
After you finalize the text and save the changes, your frame will update dynamically and you can preview different frame styles, or go back and edit the text window as needed.
Once you are happy with the overall design, click or tap "Finalize" to add the framed photo to your cart and checkout. We'll print, frame and ship righ to your door within about 1 week.
If you have already started framing a photo with us, you can also personalize the frame using the Advanced Options section beneath the blue Finalize button.
When you expand those options, you will see a link to "Make This a Personalized Frame" which will allow you to open up the built in editor and customize your text.
In both use cases, if you would like to upload an image or a design you have already created to show inside the second mat opening (instead of using our tool to create text), look beneath the font and background colors in the controls for this option.
Click the "Upload image for this text window instead?" link and upload your custom image.
